1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods for purchases made through our online store:

2. Payment Process

Payment for your order will be taken upon dispatch of the goods. You will receive a confirmation email with the details of your purchase once the payment has been successfully processed.

3. Order Confirmation and Invoice

Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email. An invoice will be sent to you via email upon dispatch of your order. Please ensure that your email address is entered correctly during the checkout process.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Orders placed before 3pm (Monday to Friday) are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 3pm, at weekends or on bank holidays are dispatched the next working day. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. See our Shipping Policy for delivery options and costs. We strive to ensure that your order reaches you promptly, but we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Refund Policy: You have 100 days after receiving your order to request a return. Items must be in the same condition you received them: unopened, with the plastic wrap intact, and in their original packaging. To start a return, email support@factoryofgames.co.uk with your order number. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer: you can either purchase a prepaid return label from us for £4.49 or return the item at your own cost using a carrier of your choice. Return shipping is not charged if an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Gift cards cannot be returned. Full details are in our Refund Policy. This does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including your right to cancel an online order within 14 days of delivery.
  • Cancellation Policy: Orders can be cancelled up until the point of dispatch. Once your order has been dispatched, you will need to follow the returns process outlined above.
  • Refund Process: Once we have received and inspected your return and approved the refund, it will be made to the payment method used for the original transaction within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may need a little extra time to process it.

6. Security and Fraud Prevention

We take your security seriously. All payment information is processed securely through Shopify Payments, which is PCI-DSS compliant. We use encryption and other security measures to protect your payment data. We also employ fraud prevention tools to monitor and prevent fraudulent transactions.

7. Late Payments

In the event of a late payment, we reserve the right to charge interest at a rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate. We may also take steps to recover the debt, which could include legal action or the use of a debt collection agency. You will be responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result of recovering the debt.

These payment terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. By making a purchase on our website, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
