Again great game that provided plenty of laughs but what appears to be an error on the card considering the price point was a bit of a let down.
We ignored the rules of the game, and played it as a group, with each player taking turns reading the card out loud and if they got it right keeping the card all within the minute timer. Then passing on to the next person and so on and so forth. This was a much better way to play the game with a group of people, as everyone around the table could see what the person reading the encrypted words was trying to say.
great family game
Played Encrypted a couple of times with friends and family. The game is great fun and ideal for playing round the table. The laughter increased when players were encouraged to work out the codes out loud. We have not used the Christmas expansion pack yet (wrong time of year). I would definitely invest in future expansion packs. We have a couple of UK holidays planned this year will be taking this game along. Great addition to our family games stockpile!!

Our family favourite! We thought Encrypted last year and all ages loved it! We bought the expansion pack just before Christmas and then added the Christmas pack as a last minute purchase! All packs are great (although the first are probably still our favourites! More adult black cards!) x

We have other packs of this game, which are great. The overall game was similar and fun to play. Unfortunately some of the Xmas edition cards seemed rushed/unchecked as it sadly contained errors (on a few, not all cards), which made it impossible to guess some answers, which was a little frustrating.
Thoroughly entertaining! We had such fun playing this game. I would recommend it.
Fab, fun, family game!
Enjoyed playing this game over Christmas with friends. Reason it hasn’t got 5 stars is that there are a couple of mistakes on some of the cards.
Fast delivery, great game for the family
Some family members loved it, some didn't. The comment from my dyslexic husband was, "it reminds me of the shame and embarrassment of having to read aloud at school"
We played Encrypted: Christmas Edition on Christmas night with our whole family — our 10-year-old daughter, our sons aged 17 and 20, their girlfriends, and a few close family friends — and it was an absolute hit. What made it so fun was watching everyone try to figure out the hidden messages as the silly phrases were read out loud. You start off sounding ridiculous, then suddenly it clicks — and those moments of realisation had the whole room in stitches. It didn’t matter whether you were 10 or 40+, everyone got just as involved, shouting guesses, laughing at themselves, and racing against the timer. Our youngest loved the fun sounds and quick wins, while the older ones got competitive trying to crack the clues faster. It created loads of laughter, friendly banter, and plenty of those “how did I not hear that sooner?” moments that make family games so memorable. It was the perfect game for a cosy Christmas evening — light-hearted, easy to jump into, and a brilliant way to get everyone off their phones and enjoying something together. Encrypted: Christmas Edition genuinely brought us all together and added something really special to our Christmas night. We’d highly recommend it for families or mixed-age groups looking for a fun, laugh-out-loud game to start a new Christmas tradition.

A bit easier to unravel than i thought so not as entertaining as depicted
We played it as a large family group taking turns to be the card holder and the guesser. Some were easier than others but it brought great hilarity. Generally most funny for the holder of the card who could see the correct answer and hear the hilarious accents as the guesser tried to work it out!
This was a laugh with family at Christmas. Worth the money
